Questions that may be covered during this event include:
How do the functions differ from traits?
Why do function definitions vary so widely?
What is the core phenomenology of the 8 functions?
Why is it difficult to convince trait fundamentalists about functions?
What ideas and research are there to build on for the future?
Please note that this event has been designed for people who already have a basic understanding of the cognitive functions.
Presenter Bio
Richard Owen, based in Brighton UK, holds an MSc in organisational psychology and is an ICF PCC coach. A qualified user of many type and trait personality instruments, he is passionate about integrating these complementary approaches. Also a previous BAPT trustee, he is a broad theorist and thought leader of type, including the depth typology work of Dr John Beebe.
