I was born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio and completed my Social Work Education at the Ohio State University. I am currently working at Veterans Affairs Health Care System in Palo Alto as a Medical Social Worker.
I became interested in personality development when I began my first job out of graduate school working with special education students in Akron Public Schools. The MBTI® was always in the "background" of my life, I first heard about MBTI® from one of the many amazing Dominicans Sisters that I met during my undergraduate education at Ohio Dominican University. It was not until one of my friends, who worked in Organizational Development at the Cleveland Clinic, became certified as a MBTI® practitioner that I began to explore type and began to learn about my preference for ISFP.
I was still only "dabbling" in type however, and it was not until moving to California and meeting my Aunt Marsha's wonderful friend Rob Weston that I began to take it more seriously. I have lived in California for 5 years now and was invited to BAAPT by Rob. That was over 3 years ago now and I have enjoyed becoming more involved in BAAPT to continue "dabbling" in type. I primarily use type in my personal life and it has been a helpful tool for understanding myself, my family, close friends and colleagues.
As someone with a preference for extraverted sensing, I love playing Volleyball, going to CrossFit, and I also just recently moved to Los Altos so I can ride my bike to work rather than being stuck in traffic commuting from Fremont.
