This experiential session explores the powerful connection between values and typology, offering insights into how this relationship can illuminate type preferences, accelerate personal growth, and enhance coaching practices. Attendees will participate in hands-on exercises that identify core values and discover how these correlate with typological patterns, leading to deeper self-awareness and more targeted coaching strategies. Takeaways ✅ Understand the relationship between values and typology. ✅ Grasp how they influence both personal and professional dynamics. ✅ Participate in experiential exercises designed to help one to identify and articulate your core values. ✅ Learn how appreciating conflicting values lies at the core of the typological agenda and how they bring us into relationship with diversity, both personal and global. About the Presenter Vicky Jo Varner (INFJ) obtained her PhD in Depth Psychology from Pacifica Graduate Institute. A former professor for the University of Philosophical Research, she taught Masters-level Jungian topics. She has presented numerous papers at conferences convened by the International Association for Jungian Studies, the International Society for Dialogical Studies, and the Association for Psychological Type International. As an MBTI Master Practitioner and ICF Professional Certified Coach, she is a professional educator and individuation coach who works with Alchemical Typology. She is interested in processes that support individuals undergoing transformation, whether via interactive guided imagery, personification, visualization, coaching, or through learning about the work of C.G. Jung. She has an abiding interest in the work of Jung—from typology to synchronicity and everything in between. When not delving in this domain, she enjoys traveling with her husband, who wed her at Stonehenge over two decades ago. Type Talk!

11 am MDT | 12 pm CDT | 1 pm EDT Join us as we discuss some of the top reasons our community members are interested in learning more about Type:
• New frontiers Learning more about new frontiers and materials, in Type theory and application. • The nature of the psyche Understanding Jung’s theories about the nature of the psyche. • Relationships Applying Type to understand and improve personal relationships. • Comparing and contrasting theories Understanding how Type theory compares and contrasts with other common theories and tools. • Forming connections Feeling connected with some of the best practitioners and thinkers in the field. What are Type Talks? During these events, we discuss topics related to personality type in a casual, less structured format. This is a great chance to review content from programs presented earlier in the year. Not to mention an excellent time for newcomers to ask questions about type in general and BAAPT in particular.
